It used to be when I was young
Time rushed endlessly, freshly sprung
To race before a rising sun
Anxious for all of life to run.
How different now my twilight years
Releasing dreams but also fears
Welcoming each new day in peace
Content at last to be released.

This little poem describes life changes, the swing from one chapter in life to another, the creating of memories in each chapter.
Then one day you realize the present is now your reality, and the past is to be filed in your memory album.
Though I have enjoyed each, I am glad I am in this chapter of life.
My feelings exactly. Love this!
