CAMELOT

There was a Camelot of long ago
Where fragrances kissed the air
And gentle breezes ebbed and flowed
Among the hearts of there
Sweet roses blushed and bloomed
As loving eyes consumed
In heart to heart communion
That promised soon, oh soon.

Camelot, oh Camelot!
How took you that away
Now dreams lie broken, misbegot
Within sad hearts betrayed.

    1. Nice to hear from you. As a matter of fact they printed the book without making my list of corrections and I saw it first on Facebook! There is a hold on it and I’ve done little the last two days except to redo the list that needs correction, then all the sign-offs again, then the printer and the distribution. It’s making me very old! Take care. We’ve had a week of freezing temperatures in the night, but fortunately not in the daytime. But have we had wind! I think I’m going to have to do another wind poem, but I know ahead of time I can’t possibly do it justice. Ya’ll take care.
